Each year, I’ve had the honor of photographing the Freedom Walk, an awareness and advocacy event hosted by Hope Inspire Love in Lancaster, PA. This powerful walk brings together people of all ages to take a stand against human trafficking and raise awareness about its impact — both globally and in our local communities.

The photos in my portfolio span multiple years of the event and capture the heart behind the mission: community, compassion, advocacy, and action. I focused on moments that reflected the emotional weight of the cause, the unity of the crowd, and the quiet strength in every step.

The walk typically begins with opening remarks, worship, and prayer, and ends with a unified walk through the streets of Lancaster. From signage and t-shirts to meaningful interactions and moments of reflection, I aimed to document it all with care and intentionality — preserving the energy and purpose behind each year’s gathering.
