Liam’s one-year cake smash session was full of sweetness, smiles, and sticky fingers! His mom wanted to capture the classic first birthday milestone, so we set up a simple, clean backdrop right on the kitchen floor—using a solid wall and soft natural light from a nearby window.

Liam is one of the happiest little guys I’ve had the joy to photograph—his sweet personality came through in every giggle and frosting-covered grin. I’ve been so blessed to do ministry alongside his parents and to watch their family grow, and it was such an honor to help celebrate this big moment in Liam’s life.

For the edit, his mom requested a style that would match other photos of their family, so I kept the tones neutral and emphasized the soft blues and greens to ensure these photos would blend seamlessly into their existing collection.
