This was such a special session with Pastor Brett and Dawn Rush, their two sons, and their sons’ wives. We’ve had the privilege of doing ministry together at our church, so it was a joy to spend time with their family in this way.

The photos were taken on a friend’s property to capture that relaxed, “in the country” feel they were going for—perfect for their family Christmas card. One of the most memorable parts of this session was capturing Jonathon and Alissa’s pregnancy announcement photo! It was an honor to help them share such big news, and even more of a joy to later photograph their maternity and newborn sessions as their story continued to unfold.
