Blake & Angie’s Wedding
Blake and Angie were married at Victory Church in Quarryville, PA—a cozy, heartfelt celebration surrounded by family. The church itself has a mix of modern and historic charm, and we took advantage of the older exteriors as beautiful, textured backdrops for portraits. The day was focused on what mattered most: their people. A big part of the photography centered around capturing meaningful family group shots after the ceremony.
The wedding party was small, but the memories were big—like when Blake’s brother (also his best man) ripped his pants right before groomsmen photos. Luckily, my mother-in-law (a skilled seamstress) was coming to the wedding and arrived early to work her magic. Between that and a little Photoshop help to clean up some distracting backgrounds, the photos turned out beautifully.
A special highlight? The groom’s father smoked all the meat for dinner himself—a labor of love and a family tradition, as he’s known for making incredible smoked meats. It added such a warm, personal touch to an already unforgettable day.
