Every July, Victory Church joins with churches around the world for Serve Day, a global movement dedicated to showing the love of God through practical acts of kindness. You can learn more about the heart behind Serve Day at serveday.com.

From 2022-2024, I not only photographed several of our local Serve Day projects, but also organized and led a team of volunteer photographers to ensure we captured as many serve spots as possible across our campuses. From painting projects to yard work to acts of service for local nonprofits, we aimed to capture authentic moments of joy, teamwork, and impact.

To keep the momentum going and give our church a real-time look at what God was doing through His people, I completed a same-day turnaround on all the photography—both my own and the majority of the volunteer team’s. It was a fast-paced, deeply fulfilling project and one of my favorite days of the year to document.
