A Generous Life Series Graphics

For this fall 2024 sermon series, A Generous Life, we explored what the Bible teaches about being generous with our time, talent, and resources. The heart of the series was to help people recognize that generosity isn’t just about money—it’s about living open-handedly in every area of life.

One of the trending design aesthetics heading into 2025 was the use of “sticker” elements—graphics that look like layered stickers on a surface. I was immediately inspired to bring that trend into this series because it was a perfect visual metaphor for the many forms of generosity. Each “sticker” graphic represented a different expression of generosity—volunteering, giving, encouraging others, using your gifts, and more.

You will see a version of the title graphic that is the exact same as the other graphics but is overall darker. I found that the original graphic was too bright to have on the stage TV, it sort of blinded those sitting in the auditorium and the cameras had a hard time picking up the bright colors for the livestream. So I created another version with a lower exposure.

The result was a playful, layered, engaging design that gave the message visual depth while staying fun and current. It felt both fresh and meaningful, with each graphic element pointing back to the idea that generosity can show up in so many ways.
